Santiago Sierra (Spain, 1966) carries out accusatory artistic actions based on the principle of the "estetica remunerada". In 2000, he gave a heroin fix to two drug addicts in exchange for their permission to shave part of their hair. By diverting the uses of body art to the question of human exploitation, this action also has an anti-modernist echo.
