Member events

Every year, the Centre Pompidou invites its members to a gala night packed with surprises including artistic performances, creative workshops and new tours of exhibitions, catering to art lovers and the art-curious alike.

Referencing our programme, the members’ gala night this year was on the theme of Germany from 1920 to 2020. Held on 31 May 2022, the programme featured a Big Band ball to the music of HéliosKine, a house and electro DJ-set by Virginia, introductory workshops at Studio 13/16, poetic happenings, a make-up workshop run by two drag queens, and a broad range of tours showing the exhibitions in a new light.

To inaugurate new exhibitions, the Centre Pompidou invites its members to an avant-première.
These guided tours are ideal for experiencing the art away from the crowds, with commentary by passionate guides.
To sweeten the deal even further, members may bring a plus-one!

Interactive workshops are regularly available to members.

Our online conferences led by the exhibition curators offer members a chance to find out what goes on behind the scenes at our exhibitions and other secrets, in the comfort of their own home.
 
Replays are available, so you can still discover the artistic world of Georgia O’Keeffe, stroll through Charles Ray scenery, get another look at the 110 female artists from “Women in Abstraction”, and time-travel through six decades of Georg Baselitz’s creations. 

Every month, the Centre Pompidou and Les Inrockuptibles invite members to avant-premières of films in the news.
Screenings are followed by a debate with film crew members.
